The Lord is good and gracious in everything that He does, including the times when He walks us through seasons of deep suffering. We can see His goodness and grace even in the deep suffering because it leads us to trust Him and know Him more. It serves to shape us more into the image of God. It helps us to see the temporary nature of the world and the lasting satisfaction found in God.
You know that feeling when you literally have no idea how something is going to work out? When you know there's a "next step" that's coming but you have no idea what it is? When the deadline to have things figured out is just a month (or a week) away? When people ask you "what's next" and you can't answer because it feels like there's just this big black empty void of a black hole ahead of you that will swallow you if you get too close?
I have two wonderful friends who have served in Jordan and have incredibly beautiful hearts for the people in this country. Jordan has a predominantly Muslim population; over 95% Muslim in fact. And TWO THIRDS of the people groups here are unreached with the Gospel. That's a huge number of people who have no knowledge … Continue reading Pray for Jordan!
Honestly, if you had asked me a few days ago where Moldova was on a map I probably wouldn't be able to tell you (which is why I included it in this picture). I was awakened to the needs of this country by some sweet sweet friends of mine who have invested their hearts and … Continue reading Pray for Moldova!
I honestly don't know if this post is going to do justice to the way my heart has been burdened for this country. My dear friend Brittany has spent time living in Niger among the Hausa people and has shared with me their incredible brokenness and need for the gospel. Of all the people groups … Continue reading Pray for Niger!
Oh friends, I hope that you will join me in praying for this country today. One of my wonderful, best friends, Rebekah, has served in Germany over the past few years and has developed such a beautiful love for this country. One fourth of the people groups in Germany are considered unreached with the news … Continue reading Pray for Germany!
One of the incredible things about this prayer project is that it has opened my eyes so much to the brokenness and hopelessness that is not only around the world, but all around us. There are so many people that are living without the hope of grace and redemption that is found in Jesus Christ. … Continue reading pray for America!
When I lived in Japan my senior year of high school I don't think I even realized how little knowledge this country has of the hope of Jesus Christ. 64% of the people groups in Japan are considered unreached with the Gospel. 68% of the people are Buddhists and less than 3% of the population … Continue reading pray for Japan!
Okay guys, so for the past almost year I've been thinking about and praying about India. Honestly I have no idea why, but for some reason the Lord has put this country on my heart. I don't know if I'm going to go there one day or if God just wants me to be faithful … Continue reading pray for India!
Obviously this country holds a very dear place in my heart because two summers ago I was able to spend 3 months serving there with some amazing people. I fell in love with the people, including these two sweet daughters of Christ, Shamim and Florence, who taught me what genuine faith and complete, selfless love … Continue reading pray for Uganda!
