faithful Jesus, I trust in You
He is faithful. He is utterly dependable. He is the antithesis of everything fickle and fluctuating. He is constant. He never changes. He is faithful always, no matter what my circumstances are. IN ALL THINGS He is holy and sovereign and good. He is faithful even when I am unfaithful. He is faithful to fulfill His purpose for me. He is faithful to fulfill all of His promises. I have no more reason to doubt His faithfulness than to doubt His very nature and being.
my hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness
Hope is not just faith for today…it is faith for every single day on earth until our hope becomes a reality at the coming of Christ. It is faith in the future tense. True, life-giving hope brings us a deep sense of joy. Even through the darkness and struggles we know that the victory has already been won and we will not be overcome if we hold fast to our hope in Christ.

Agape love speaks of a love drawn out of the heart based on the preciousness of the object loved. So how incredible is it that despite our inadequacies Christ still finds value in us. Enough to complete the ultimate act of self-sacrifice, of agape love, for us?
